Helmut Fischer PHASCOPE PMP10 DUPLEX – duplex coating thickness gauge
Applications
A specialised gauge for duplex systems – paint on galvanised steel – from car bodies to roofing and façade sheet. A single measurement shows the paint and zinc thickness separately, and it switches from steel to aluminium without changing the probe.
Key features
- Three methods: magnetic induction, amplitude-sensitive and phase-sensitive eddy current
- DUAL and DUPLEX modes: total thickness or paint / zinc separately
- Suitable for small parts, curved and rough surfaces
- Automatic substrate recognition
- Memory for 20,000 readings, RS232 / USB, FISCHER DataCenter reports
Models
PHASCOPE PMP10 DUPLEX
Technical data
- Methods: magnetic induction, amplitude-sensitive and phase-sensitive eddy current
- Range: 0–2,000 µm (depending on the combination and probe)
- Modes: DUAL (total paint+zinc on Fe or paint on Al); DUPLEX (paint on zinc on Fe or paint on Al)
- Memory: 20,000 readings
- Interface: RS232, USB optional
Standards
DIN EN ISO 2178, DIN EN ISO 2360, ISO 21968
