Dimensional Measurement

Dimensional Measurement

Dimensional measuring instruments – digital calipers, micrometers, digital indicators, bore gauges, height gauges and optical measuring machines – are the foundation of every machining workshop, CNC production line, quality control department and metrology laboratory. They determine whether a part matches its drawing, whether measurement results reliably reach the SPC (statistical process control) system, and whether compliance can be proven to customers and auditors.
UAB „Matavimo technologijos“ offers instruments from the Swiss manufacturers Sylvac and Trimos, as well as Aberlink coordinate measuring machines. Sylvac hand-held instruments feature Swiss manufacturing and calibration certificates, integrated Bluetooth® data transfer (“Smart” versions) to Sylvac software or the customer’s SPC system, IP67 protection on most workshop instruments, and SIS (Smart Inductive System) technology – the instrument wakes up and goes to sleep by itself while keeping its position. Trimos covers height gauges, portable CNC CMMs, 3D measuring arms and measuring and calibration benches; Aberlink supplies bridge-type CMMs with easy-to-use software.
How to choose:

Range – the size of the parts to be measured (e.g. calipers 150–3000 mm, bore gauges 2–310 mm).
Resolution and maximum permissible error – 0.01 mm for workshop tasks, 0.001 mm (one micron) and 0.0001 mm for precision parts and the laboratory.
Protection – IP67 for workshops with coolants, IP54 for clean environments.
Data transfer – no output (Basic), cable (Proximity/USB/RS232) or Bluetooth® (Smart).

In your enquiry please state: the type of parts and their size range, the required accuracy/tolerance, the working environment (workshop / laboratory), whether data transfer to a PC or SPC software is needed, whether an accredited calibration certificate is required, and the quantity.

Bore Gauges

Xtreme 3 – digital bore gauges 2–300 mm with Bluetooth® and IP67: Digital (micrometer thimble) and Holematic (pistol-grip, with quick retraction trigger). Ultima – high-accuracy internal measuring sets 2–310 mm with a maximum permissible error from 1 µm.

Digital Calipers

The Sylvac S_Cal EVO series – professional digital calipers 150–500 mm with IP67 protection and SIS technology: from the affordable Basic version without data output to the Smart version with Bluetooth® and micron resolution. For large parts there are ultra-light UL4 calipers up to 3000 mm, and for depth – S_Depth EVO depth gauges up to 500 mm.

Digital Indicators

S_Dial MINI (Ø45 mm, the smallest on the market), S_Dial WORK (12.5–100 mm, resolution down to 0.1 µm in the NANO version, IP67 Advanced version) and the S_Dial TEST lever-type indicator with Bluetooth®. The M3 stand is designed for testing indicators.

Digital Micrometers

S_Mike PRO – fast micrometers with a non-rotating spindle, 1 µm resolution and interchangeable anvils (cylindrical, disc, point, flat/spherical). S_Mike EVO – a classic micrometer with a rotating spindle, 0–100 mm. Both series offer IP67 protection and Bluetooth® versions.

Height Gauges

Height gauges are the basic dimensional inspection tool on a surface plate: they measure heights, thicknesses, bore diameters and centre distances. We offer the full Swiss Trimos height gauge range. The entry-level V1, V2 and V3 are designed for simple workshop measurements. The V4, V5 and V6 have an air cushion and manual or motorised drive. The V4+ and V7 with touchscreens perform 2D measurements, while the V8 and V9 are built for laboratory accuracy. We also offer Sylvac Hi_Cal and Z5 height gauges. The key selection criteria are the measuring range, the required accuracy and whether you need 2D measurement and data transfer.

Measuring and Calibration Benches

Trimos horizontal measuring and setting benches and universal length measuring instruments (ULM) – for checking and calibrating measuring instruments, gauges and standards in the workshop and laboratory.
More

Optical Measuring Instruments

Sylvac-SCAN – vertical non-contact optical measuring machines for cylindrical parts (shafts, screws, turned parts) from Ø26 mm to Ø145 mm and up to 1280 mm long. A complete 2D scan of the part in a few seconds, Reflex SCAN+ software, resolution down to 0.0001 mm.
More

Portable Measuring Arms

Trimos portable 3D measuring arms (A3, A5, A6) and the ScanSurf laser scanner – for quality control, inspection and measurement of small and large parts right where the part stands.
