OptiSense PaintChecker Mobile – non-contact photothermal coating thickness gauges

Applications

Handheld photothermal gauges for the laboratory and production line that measure wet, powder and cured coatings on metallic and non-metallic substrates without contact. Laser Pen – for smooth coatings and small parts, Gun-R – for rough surfaces, plastic and rubber, Gun-B – for freshly sprayed powder before curing.

Key features

  • Non-contact measurement – no damage, suitable for soft and wet coatings
  • Small measuring spot for small parts, corners and edges
  • Separate sensor head for hard-to-reach areas (Gun)
  • Eye-safe LARES technology, no protective equipment needed
  • Three-point illuminated aiming aid for the correct distance; acoustic confirmation
  • USB export to PC and Excel; ~10 h operation on Li-Ion battery

Models

Laser Pen-1.6 and Pen-3.5 (laser), Gun-R (LED, IR/UV), Gun-B (LED, for powder); Gun-B version with 75 mm optics
