Foerster SONODUR R – automatable UCI hardness tester for production lines
Applications
For 100 % process control in mass and series production: hardness measurement of series parts after heat and/or surface treatment, as well as coating hardness on gravure cylinders. With its 19″ housing, SONODUR R is suitable for integration into automated production lines and for use as a benchtop instrument. It runs the same Android software as SONODUR 3, adapted for a 7″ touch screen. Thanks to USB and a galvanically isolated digital I/O interface, according to the manufacturer it is currently the world’s only fully automatable UCI hardness testing system: set limits can directly control, for example, actuators for sorting good / reject parts.
