Foerster MAGNATEST D – automatic hardness and structure testing
Applications
The world’s most widely used magnetic induction system for 100 % testing of hardness, hardening depth, structure and material grades in series production, especially in the automotive industry. The single-coil absolute mode needs no reference coil; the MULTIPLEXER allows work with several coils.
Key features
- Load-independent, current-controlled induction (up to 4 A / 36 V) – constant field strength
- Single- and multi-frequency excitation, harmonic analysis (up to the 11th harmonic at ≤ 8 kHz) reduces the influence of temperature and position
- Sorting thresholds: circle, ellipse, rectangle, box regression; 6 definable, 8 sorting groups
- TFT touchscreen, statistics, histograms, data export, connection to QM systems
- 8 galvanically isolated inputs and outputs; serial, 3 × USB, 2 × Ethernet, DisplayPort
Models
4 HU housing (177 × 481 × 410 mm, ~18 kg); 6 HU (289 × 463 × 449 mm, ~19.3 kg); MAGNATEST D MULTIPLEXER; adapter for two-coil differential mode; MAGNATEST D-HZP for semi-finished products
Technical data
