Foerster SIGMATEST 2.070 – portable electrical conductivity meter

Applications

For quality assurance and material inspection, heat treatment control, alloy identification and sorting, and in aviation – assessment of heat damage. SIGMATEST measures the electrical conductivity of non-magnetic metals quickly, accurately and non-destructively; the measurement quality meets Boeing (BAC 5651) and Airbus requirements. Five test frequencies allow measurement of everything from solid parts to very thin workpieces.

Key features

  • Five frequencies: 60, 120, 240, 480 and 960 kHz
  • Up to 50 measurements per second; “Touch” (single) and “Continuous” modes
  • Automatic temperature compensation to 20 °C (internal or external sensor)
  • Measurement through paint and coatings – lift-off compensation up to 0.75 mm
  • Calibration data stored in the probe – automatic recognition of 5, 8 and 14 mm probes
  • Correction factors for concave and convex surfaces
  • SD card and Ethernet interface for data
