QATM Qetch 100 M / Qetch 1000 – electrolytic polishing and etching

Applications

For preparing and revealing the microstructure of stainless steel, aluminium, titanium and other materials on which mechanical polishing leaves deformation. Qetch 1000 – for the laboratory (control unit separate from the bath, suitable for a fume hood); Qetch 100 M – for field work on equipment without mains power.

Key features

  • Qetch 1000: real-time current and voltage diagram, scan function to find the material’s voltage curve; up to 200 password-protected programs.
  • Qetch 1000: interchangeable 1 l electrolyte reservoirs with lids, water rinsing program; touchscreen and QATM software.
  • Qetch 100 M: Li-Ion battery, independent of mains power; microprocessor-controlled automatic program.
  • Qetch 100 M: handle with integrated polishing unit, start/stop button and multicolour LED status indicator.
  • Adjustable voltage, current and time on both models.
