Dimensional Measurement
Dimensional Measurement
Dimensional measuring instruments – digital calipers, micrometers, digital indicators, bore gauges, height gauges and optical measuring machines – are the foundation of every machining workshop, CNC production line, quality control department and metrology laboratory. They determine whether a part matches its drawing, whether measurement results reliably reach the SPC (statistical process control) system, and whether compliance can be proven to customers and auditors.
UAB „Matavimo technologijos“ offers instruments from the Swiss manufacturers Sylvac and Trimos, as well as Aberlink coordinate measuring machines. Sylvac hand-held instruments feature Swiss manufacturing and calibration certificates, integrated Bluetooth® data transfer (“Smart” versions) to Sylvac software or the customer’s SPC system, IP67 protection on most workshop instruments, and SIS (Smart Inductive System) technology – the instrument wakes up and goes to sleep by itself while keeping its position. Trimos covers height gauges, portable CNC CMMs, 3D measuring arms and measuring and calibration benches; Aberlink supplies bridge-type CMMs with easy-to-use software.
How to choose:
Range – the size of the parts to be measured (e.g. calipers 150–3000 mm, bore gauges 2–310 mm).
Resolution and maximum permissible error – 0.01 mm for workshop tasks, 0.001 mm (one micron) and 0.0001 mm for precision parts and the laboratory.
Protection – IP67 for workshops with coolants, IP54 for clean environments.
Data transfer – no output (Basic), cable (Proximity/USB/RS232) or Bluetooth® (Smart).
In your enquiry please state: the type of parts and their size range, the required accuracy/tolerance, the working environment (workshop / laboratory), whether data transfer to a PC or SPC software is needed, whether an accredited calibration certificate is required, and the quantity.
