SAMPLE PRESSING EQUIPMENT

Hot pressing equipment:

A large selection of cylindrical and rectangular pressing forms, intuitive software, ergonomics of the devices determine the decision of customers to choose QATM products.

Hot fitting presses are hydraulic, water cooled. They can be used to form round or rectangular, single or double material samples of various sizes and shapes. The innovative closing system of the press allows convenient and easy closing during the pressing process.

UV ray pressing equipment:

QMOUNT

With the help of QATM cold pressing presses with UV irradiation, it is possible to press transparent samples for standard material tests very quickly. The samples are placed in a device where powerful LED technology is installed and applied. Transparent pressing molds are filled with UV-curable resin, placed in the device, and thus a sample is formed in a minute. If necessary, a suction device can be connected to the press.

CUTTING MACHINE

The QATM materials testing specimen preparation machine is ideal for precise, low-deformation cutting. The product range covers a wide range of cutting capacities, from small, convenient, desktop models to large, industrial cutters. With a choice of manual or automatic control axes, the QATM cutting machine will meet the needs of any materials testing laboratory.

Desktops cutting machine:

QATM offers a range of convenient, bench-top cutting machines for the materials testing laboratory, from manually operated to fully automated models. These cutting machines meet the accuracy requirements of wet, abrasive cutting metallography and are suitable for small objects with different geometries, as well as for thin cuts.

Cutting machines placed on the floor:

QATM floor-mounted cutting machines for materialographic preparation are robust and powerful for cutting complex and large components. These cutting machines are perfectly suited for industrial use, without different cutting functionalities and varying degrees of automation. By cutting specimens in up to five spatial axes, even the most complex cutting tasks in metallography can be performed.

GRINDING AND POLISHING EQUIPMENT

Grinding and polishing is the last stage of the metallographic sample preparation process, which consists of several more stages. Each step uses a finer abrasive than the previous one, with the ultimate goal of creating a distortion- and scratch-free, mirror-like surface on the specimen.
